We will focus on expressing emotions differently and/or better. With this training, we hope to support you in finding the right balance in emotions. This means being able to deal with emotions in a safe way so that they do not cause us so many problems in daily life.
We combine simple mindfulness meditation techniques and scientific psychological insights on managing stress, negative emotions, worrying, and health issues.

Several VUB PhD candidates indicate that they perceive a lot of mental stress due to their work and show heightened risk for psychological distress. Therefore, the VUB doctoral schools developed together with BRUCC a special program targeting psychological challenges for VUB PhD candidates.
There is a suspicion or diagnose of AD(H)D what makes it sometimes difficult in studies, at work, with the relationships or in free time. We try to get a better understanding of AD(H)D and what it entails for you as an adult. We offer psycho-education about ADHD, exchanging experiences and learning new skills.
